Maritza BensonAbout the Judge, Maritza Benson

Ms. Benson holds a degree in Art from Florida Atlantic University. Maritza has been an interior designer and creates handmade jewelry and performs as an aerial artist. She served as Curator and Program Manager for ArtServe and Curator/Community Engagement Coordinator at Studio 18 in the Pines.
As a curator she loves the challenge of creating a dynamic exhibition. She is looking for artwork that inspires perspectives, evoke emotions and provokes thought, offering a meaningful experience to the viewer.
“I have learned that you must follow your passion in life and listen to your heart for it will guide you down the path to fulfillment.” Maritza asks myself ‘how can I help the artists?’.

Entries for this exhibit are limited to 2 per artist. Jewelry artists can enter three pieces of a coordinated set as one entry (example: necklace with matching earrings). ALL WILL BE ACCEPTED.
