Exhibiting September, 2024: G.man production & Deise Jefinny
G.man Production Exhibit Title: “Art For Your Heart”
Statement
My art is different because it is art with an experience, and that experience is YOU. When you discover my art, you are involved, there is an inner awareness of your own heart. I invite you to let go and explore the intuitive, free-spirited journey. You feel a connection to my art, an attachment to it, you open your heart to it, and it chooses you.
They say artists always have a message. For me, it is to make people happy. No matter what art I make, I want people to stop and think about what it says to them. It is very simple; happiness is how to make the world a better place. That is why I make . . . “art for your heart”.
I have an inventory available, plus I take custom orders. Genuine G.man pieces include my copper hand-stamped logo.
Bio
I began creating at age 4, fashioning a cross of wood for my mother. I made art through furniture and antiques as a cabinetmaker, upholsterer, designer, and re-finisher. I incorporated texture, such as glass and metal – evolving to fountains, metal sculptures, wooden art. The art world calls me an “Outsider Artist”. My friends call me “Renaissance Man” – I easily learn, apply, and combine different fields.
I apply my abstract vision to wood that I have cut, carved and sanded such as cedar, pine, mahogany, even reclaimed wood. I sculpt with wood, I paint on wood, and I mount photography on wood. I cut, bend, and solder metal with wood. I design paint, texture, and framing onto wood to create mixed media pieces. I create depth and emotion by combining wood with natural media, such as glass, rocks, shells, metal, even fabric.
I have been selling my art since 2017 as G.man production “art for your heart”, working as a two-person team with my wife running all operations of our art business. My highlight was “Best In Show” among 80 pieces in 2022 for my sculpture that found its home with a lovely Fort Lauderdale couple one month later.
Deise Jefinny Exhibit Title: Brazilian Divas (Exhibiting September 12 – October 16, 2024)
Statement
Brazilian Divas is a collection of photographs that I made of Brazilian Female Singers throughout my career as a photographer in Brazil and South Florida. The images were made on my Nikon FM2 SLR manual camera with Nikon lens 50mm, F 28-70mm and 135mm before digital Era and with my digital camera. I explore the lights that I have from the stage avoiding the use of flash. The original prints and negatives of the black and white photos were developed on the dark room.
Some of the images were previously shown at art exhibits on Brazil.
The images selected for this exhibit show the expressive strength of these women, the diversity of representation and meanings of Brazilian female singers that stand out for their trajectory and contribution to Brazilian culture in the music field.

Bio
Deise Jefinny is a Brazilian American photojournalist and entrepreneur based in South Florida for the past 20 years.
After leaving high school in Porto Alegre, RS she bought her first camera and started working on a high-end photo lab where she processed slides and color photography manually. She worked with the best national photographers in Brazil and that gave her a sense of what she could create when she put herself behind the camera.
Searching for better opportunities as a photographer Deise Jefinny moved to the northeast of Brazil to Fortaleza City. There she started documenting all types of cultural manifestations such as Maracatu, Reisado, Junine celebrations and other popular manifestations.
She documented renowned national and international artists’ exhibitions and performances of dance, concerts, classical music, poetry, artists and sculptors. That opened new opportunities, and she started working with renowned Brazilian filmmakers doing still photography and collaborations with local newspapers for their art sections. Deise also has extensive work documenting the Eleazar de Carvalho Camera Orchestra (ORCEC) the official Ceara State Orchestra. Deise also participated on educational programs to teach Photography classes to low-income students.
Deise prefers to work with natural light, black and white images avoiding the use of flash, or Photoshop and combines fine art and photojournalism bringing the sense of the scene closer to the viewer
