The Broward Art Guild is the oldest and largest organization of working artists in Broward County. The Guild later evolved into an independent, not-for-profit organization in 1950.

Open-Call Monthly Exhibits...
The Broward Art Guild presents many visual art exhibitions throughout the year, hosted mostly at our gallery, and occasionally at various locations in Broward County. The majority of these are juried shows, which are judged by visual art professionals from various areas of the world of visual art. We offer a mix of open-themed exhibits as well as some specific themes, which are designed to both engage the public as well as challenge some artists to expand their craft. Participating artists do not have to be Guild members to enter work into our shows, unless specifically noted as a "Member's Only" exhibit. Works entered must be presented in a professional manner. Individual calls to artists will have the specific details and restrictions on each exhibit. Please feel free to call us at 954-537-3370 for more details or to answer any questions.
The public is invited to the exhibit openings, where awards are presented...including "People's Choice". Receptions are free and open to the public. Participating artists are encouraged to make their works available for sale, so buyers and collectors take note.

The New Normal
- We are using online entry forms.
- Entry fees will be paid online through the online entry form or cash/check at our gallery during regular business hours. Please call 954-537-3370 to coordinate with staff if dropping off payment.
- JPG Images will need to be sent in along with your online application. The judge will be choosing the pieces for the show from these images, so be sure they are good quality, and a clear representation of the work.
- Artists will be notified no later than the Thursday prior to the drop-off date as to whether or not their piece(s) have been accepted into the exhibit. At that time, we will be scheduling drop-off time and day.
- ACCEPTED works will be dropped off the Friday or Saturday before the opening
- Please do not linger after dropping off or picking up your work.
Youth Art Competition & Exhibit
This is a platform for the artists of tomorrow to showcase their talents. You can be sure these emerging artists, grades 6-12, will be bringing their "A" game.

Criteria for This Exhibit: Students grades 6-8 and 9-12. Open subject, medium, and style for 2D, 3D, and jewelry. Maximum size in height or width is 60". Artwork cannot have been shown at Gallery Six previously for any organization. Artwork must be appropriate for viewing by all ages.

"SMALL WORKS" EXHIBIT (competitive)
Good things come in small packages and this exhibit is no exception. Paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, mixed media, and jewelry will be on display and for sale, making the perfect gift or filling that special little spot in your home.

A collection of works focused mostly on visceral response and aesthetics. Nonrepresentation works, surrealism, and anything in between. Color, flow, balance, and texture are the subject matter front and center in this contemporary showing. Painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and jewelry will be on display.
