Call To Artists

Criteria for This Exhibit: Artworks need to predominantly showcase the color red. Open subject, medium, and style for 2D, 3D, and jewelry.

Entry Deadline: Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

Artist Intake: ONLY Saturday, January 27th, by appointment.

Artist Pickup: Fri., February 16, 2024, and Sat., February 17, 2024, by appointment.

About the judge, Genie Appel Cohen

Award-winning painter Genie Appel-Cohen completed her art education at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. She is a Signature Member of The National Acrylic Painters’ Association; a past president of 2+3 The Artists’ Organization; a former board member of the National Association of Women Artists, Florida; and a committee member for Women in the Visual Arts. She is represented by Studio E in Palm Beach. Having exhibited several times at the Tate Gallery in London, she has the distinction of being one of the few American artists in its archives. She has been on the faculty of The Boca Museum Art School and the Coral Springs Museum of Art as an art educator, activist, and workshop leader.
