Color, Line and Sound Stress Reduction Workshop
With Victoria Englehart
Art therapist will introduce relaxation techniques, introduce Artist Wassily Kandinsky, his work and strategies and discuss various types of line, as well as implied line.
Workshop participants will create line drawings while listening to various pieces of music. They will then crop them to create a composition that they will enlarge and add color to while continuing to listen to music. They will be shown oil pastel techniques and blending strategies for vibrant bold or soft colors.
Finished composition will be matted with a white 11″ x 14″ mat.
Workshop will end with closing relaxation breathing technique and examples of how they can continue with the method.

Victoria Englehart Biography
Victoria Englehart holds a Masters Degree in Holistic Education and Art Ed, is a National Board certified art teacher K-12 and a recent retiree of 30 years with Broward County Schools in Florida. She has illustrated 9 children’s books, has received numerous grants and awards and was one of the three finalists for Broward County Arts Teacher of the year.
She currently works doing portraits, printmaking and paper weaving, as well as, teaching private classes and workshops. Her work has recently been exhibited at Broward Art Guild, Coral Springs Museum of Art, Kaiser University, Pompano Library and Center of the Arts, and Deerfield Beach Arts and Cultural Center. She is passionate about Art and continuing to guide students in their own personal process of empowerment
